Brooch love.

Last Friday I hit up a Goodwill and found these awesome cropped trousers [which had been on my wish list for sometime now] and this lovely floral short-sleeved/bolero-esque jacket. I have been so inspired by the JCREW 2010 Fall Lookbook, that I had to re-create the multi-brooch look myself. Luckily, I've been collecting vintage brooches for awhile...so my idea easily came into fruition.

Today's Outfit.

Hey my lovelies! :)

I've had the busiest weekend ever. My husband and I have been from one thrift/antique shop to the next, in continuation of decorating our new home. I really love hitting up flea markets and Goodwills. You find the most unique pieces for so cheap...it's like a treasure hunt, I love it.

My outfit for this Sunday was simple. A new skirt I picked up from a Salvation Army, paired with a simple v-neck tee and some cute sandals. I have recently started putting this headband in my hair (do you remember wearing these in the 90's?). I saw Heidi Klum wearing one in a mag and remembered how easy they were. It's perfect when you want to just pull your hair out of your face.

Anyways, I hope all of you had a great weekend! I'm already super excited for next weekend, as we are having our house warming party and all of our friends will be over! Cannot wait!! :)
