{Yellow Submarine}

Happy Hump Day loves! :) If you follow my blog regularly, then you probably are aware of my obsession with The Beatles. My father (and all of his brothers) were huge Beatles fans, so naturally my bros and I grew up loving them as well! I don't listen to them as often as I used to, but I do love to wear Beatles tees quite often -- in fact, lately I've added some new tees to my collection -- see my previous posts HERE and HERE! When JunkFoodClothing asked me to choose a tee of my choice I was giddy because I'm quite the fan of JunkFoodTees (you can see my previous JunkFoodTees posts HERE, HERE, and HERE)! They are super soft and their vintage prints really make you feel like you're wearing an old vintage tee! They have a wide assortment of styles (including rock bands and sports teams), but I (of course) had to choose a Beatles tee! This Yellow Submarine easy rider tank is perfect for spring and summer! Love the bright colors -- and the "Yellow Submarine" happens to be one of my fave Beatles tunes (and movies!). :) Here I styled it with my striped skirt and classic Levis jacket -- but I can't wait to wear this tank with a pair of bright colored denim to make it extra colorful!

Happy Tuesday my loves! I broke out my canary yellow tropical vintage blazer over the weekend for a little dress-up time. This vintage blazer has been in my closet for over a year now and I'm finally breaking it out of hibernation (story of my life with my vintage items). These rad new heels from Shoemint really got me in the Spring mood, so naturally this blazer was a great pairing. Can't go wrong with distressed denim either! Oh, and my new fave thing to do? Wear belts over my blazers and coats!! {*See an old inspo post from one of my faves: BJonesStyle, and a fave street-style image HERE}.

{Mustard}

DSC00573 (1) DSC00570 (1) DSC00575 (2) DSC00577 (2) DSC00568 (1) DSC00578 (1)
{sweater: H&M (love these grandpa sweaters HERE & HERE); skirt: Victorias Secret (now on sale!); fur stole: vintage; boots: Nine West (similar styles HERE and HERE); sunnies: Ray-Ban c/o SunglassesShop; bag: Joe's Jeans (simlar styles HERE and HERE); necklace: Max&Chloe; bracelets: David Yurman, Stella&Dot c/o, and Swarovski c/o; watch: Michael Kors; ring: YSL (get it HERE)}

I wore this outfit the day after Christmas to do some shopping with the fam, and I have to say I'm mildly obsessed with this mustard grandpa cardi I recently snagged from H&M (and might I add it was on sale). I had been lusting over the Elin Kling for Marciano oversized mustard sweater for awhile, but just couldn't bring myself to spend over $200 for a sweater I wouldn't get much use out of. Maybe if I lived in a colder climate, but here in FL sweater and coat weather doesn't last as long as we'd like it to. Since the birth of my baby girl (on 12/6/12), I've been reaching for clothing that is comfortable but still makes me look and feel good. All I've been wanting to wear lately are ribbed leggings with long sweaters and stretchy skirts. I don't feel too comfortable in my jeans just yet -- but I know that will come in time. Looking forward to the 6 week mark so I can start jogging with my little girl in her stroller. I never thought I would say I miss working out, but I really do. Another thing I'm loving lately? My shorter locks. My hair is easily manageable now -- taking less than 15 minutes to blow dry! Really helps with being a new Mom. :)

Hope everyone has a fab weekend! xo

{Mellow Yellow}

{shirt: vintage; jeans: GUESS c/o (similar style HERE); flats: vintage Salvatore Ferragamo; necklace: The Oxford Trunk c/o; bag: vintage; cuff: etsy; watch: Michael Kors; cable bracelet: David Yurman; rings: ShopNBC c/o (now sold out) & David Yurman}

So luckily the rain and wind have died down tremendously and Tropical Storm Debby allowed me a few moments yesterday morning to snap a quick shots. Although, she did pull all the curls I had just put into my hair :(. How awesome are these neon yellow jeans by GUESS? Love the ultra-bright hue -- they just pop! This vintage shirt was a recent thrift find. The print just grabbed my attention, and lately I'm really drawn to shirts that I can button all the way up for a chic look. This gorgeous yellow bubble necklace from The Oxford Trunk was the perfect accessory to finish the outfit. Cannot wait to style this beauty with other outfits!

How's everyone's week going so far??!

Cropped Denim & Polka Dots

{top: Old Navy (no longer available but I love THIS polka dot tank and THIS ONE; jeans: Goldsign c/o (get them HERE); shoes: Jeffrey Campbell (old, but I found them in floral HERE and THESE tan wedges are super cute too!); necklaces: Max&Chloe & DERNG c/o; bracelets: Sorrelli cuff (get it HERE), RutherfordsByRebecca c/o, & David Yurman; limited edition clutch: Madison Elizabeth Co. c/o; }

Hey loves! Took these photos a couple weeks ago and just now posting them, but I'm glad I waited because we've had some serious weather here in the Tampa Bay area (can you say Tropical Storm Debby??!), so I haven't had a rainless day to take some photos. On another note, how fun is this clutch by Madison Elizabeth Co.?? Love how one side is a bright minty green and the other side is a pretty bubblegum pink!

Oh, before I forget let me update you on my Doctor's Appt. I had last Friday. Unfortunately we were unable to get an ultrasound at that appt., but our next appt. on July 20th we will get to see the baby! We did, however, get to hear the baby's heartbeat last Friday and it brought tears to my eyes. Just so amazing to think that a little human being is growing inside of me. We are so blessed and cannot wait to meet this little guy or girl. Oh yeah, let me let ya'll know that we aren't finding out the sex of the baby. I know I know, no fun for you guys -- but hey, it will be a surprise for everyone right?! I think that's pretty exciting! :)

Fashion Haul: LuLus.com!

LuLus.com recently gifted me a few items to feature on the blog, and although I've been feeling under the weather and have yet to be able to wear/photograph them -- they are so fun and perfect for spring that my mind is racing with all the different ways I can style them! If you aren't familiar with LuLus.com, they are the perfect source for cute and on trend clothing, shoes, & accessories! Plus they carry designs by the ever-popular BB Dakota, Jeffrey Campbell, and RVCA (just to name a few)!

DSC08368
{item no longer available -- but I love this blush pink blazer, this cropped white blazer, & this embroidered coral top}
Fell in love with the bright punchy hue of this cropped blazer! Can't wait to pair this blazer with a comfy gray v-neck tee and some distressed Levis jeans, or even worn over a fun little dress!

DSC08367
{RVCA Lemon Print Dress}
For me, this dress was so reminiscent of Stella McCartney's citrus prints for her Spring/Summer 2011 runway, that I was instantly smitten! I love the satiny-feel, criss-crossed back, and ruffly skirt. I can't wait to pair this dress with an unbuttoned denim shirt or jacket and boots, a white blazer with some fun heels, or even worn by itself with a great necklace and fun wedges or flats!

DSC08363
{BB Dakota by Jack Aurora Orange Lace Dress}
I'm instantly drawn to anything crochet or lace, so this dress had me at "hello." Love the deep orange hue, and the simple cut of the dress. Can't wait to pair it with some leather flatforms, espadrilles, or some gladiators. Some eye-catching arm swag, or some teal colored jewlery would pair perfectly with this dress.

**Now for the real fun part of this post, all my readers can take 15% off your total purchase at LuLus.com by using BELLEDECOUTURE at checkout from 4/19/12 - 4/21/12! Now you can snag some of your own goodies for spring! :)
