If you've been a follower of my blog for awhile, then you probably are aware of my love for denim. I've been reviewing denim on Denimology.com since 2011 and I have had the pleasure of trying out some of the raddest styles from some of the best denim brands out there. This is my first time trying out the Habitual brand and I have to say their coated denim has to be the best I've tried as of yet. You can check out my full review of these jeans HERE, and you can check out all my previous reviews for Denimology HERE!

What's your take on coated denim? Are you a fan? Have you ever tried coated denim by Habitual? I want to know!!

Hey loves! The weather in FL is still super cold, and the whipping wind lately is definitely not helping. I'm sure most of you are saying "Honey, please stop complaining because where I live is FREEZING right now compared to FL." Yes, I know... we're spoiled in FL so when it drops below 60 degrees we're grabbing our pea coats. I'm sure this is the last of our cold anyways, and in about a week or two we'll probably be back in the 70's haha. Well enough about the weather -- how about this rad outfit I'm wearing?! Yes, I must toot my own horn -- my apologies, but I am ob-sessed with this vintage Lillie Rubin sweater. In fact, I'm ashamed that this is the very first time it's ever been debuted on the blog -- but hey, that's how I roll right? (always keeping my vintage tucked away until the perfect moment) Well last weekend felt like the perfect moment. It was freezing, I wanted a nice thick sweater to wear, and then I remembered this lovely embellished Lillie Rubin one! I found it a couple years ago while on one of my many thrifting adventures, and it immediately caught my eye. It's in incredible condition -- the beading is so intricate and I love how it has fringe too! Also love how there's specs of silver weaved into the fabric. So fun, right?! Since this sweater was so crazy cool, I knew I had to tone down the rest of my look. I kept my jewelry simple with a couple of my fave Swarovski pieces (they add just enough sparkle, but don't overwhelm), and my denim, bag, and shoes I kept black (to have a nice clean and minimal look). How do you think I did? What's your opinion of embellished clothing? I myself, am obsessed. If you missed my recent post featuring my vintage emebellished cardi, you can check it out HERE!

This time last year I was sporting some fun floral denim by Citizens of Humanity! Definitely one of my fave outfits on the blog. One trend that I will never grow tired of is printed denim, and right now there are some awesome new styles.
Here are some of my latest faves:

Happy -almost- Friday loves! Hope everyone's had a great week so far. :)
I wore this feline friendly outfit last weekend, mainly because I've been itching to wear three of these items for awhile. The sweater cardi is a fave of mine, and I try to break it out at least once every winter. The tank is something I received from WildLifeWorks, and I've been waiting for the perfect outfit to wear it with. The panther pin is a vintage find I snagged a few years ago. It's one of my fave possessions. Isn't it just awesome? Love his green eyes too! Now back to the WildLifeWorks tank... this tank is truly something amazing because not only is it made of 100% organic cotton and carbon neutral, but wearing this tank helps protect the endangered African Lion from extinction! Isn't that so special?! To learn more about WildLifeWorks and what their program is about, check out their mission on their website HERE, and find out how fashion can save wildlife!!

{Modern 70's}

Collage DSC01051 (1) DSC01050 (1) DSC01049 (1) DSC01047 (1) DSC01046 (1) DSC01056 (1) DSC01052 (1)
{sweater: J.Crew (old, love these pink styles HERE and HERE); faux fur coat: vintage (love this style HERE); jeans: Dittos c/o (love this style by Dittos HERE); bag: Olivia + Joy c/o (other fun styles HERE and TEXT); necklace & bracelet: vintage; sunnies: Dior (love this style HERE); ring: David Yurman; watch: Michael Kors; shoes: Forever21 (old, but similar style HERE) }

This past weekend I took advantage of our freezing cold temps and broke out one of my fave vintage coats! I'm finally back into some of my fave jeans and these bell-bottoms from Dittos have been patiently waiting in my closet. I received them while I was pregnant and of course I was unable to wear them because they are high-waisted, but now they fit like a glove. ;) Bell bottom jeans are my absolute fave style of jean to wear. Must be my love for the 70's. With my big sunnies, faux fur coat, and bell-bottom jeans -- my look was very 70's glam, but I modernized it with my bright pink J.Crew sweater and Olivia & Joy handbag. How do you feel about bell-bottom jeans? Are you a fan??
