If you're a long-time follower of mine then you probably already know that I love to try out new beauty products, especially when it comes to skincare. The older I get the more I am aware of what my skin is lacking and I'm always eager to try out new products that can help rejuvenate it and bring it back to life. One thing that drives me nuts about my skin is how dry it gets. I've talked about my skin issues on the blog before -- how I've battled with acne my entire life (been on Accutane twice) and how I'm battling with hormonal acne since having children, scarring, and sun spots. My skin used to be pretty oil, but now I'm in my 30's and over time it has become super dry. A year ago I started to incorporate oils into my skincare routine and it has worked wonders for me. So when I found out that Palmer's (a trusted brand that I've been using for YEARS) had a skin care line, I just had to try it!
I’m really excited to be teaming up with CVS Pharmacy on some beauty posts where I’ll be sharing some of my favorite drugstore beauty products. For my first post, I’m featuring some great natural beauty products that are all available at CVS – from skincare to makeup!

Through my 6 years of blogging, I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing an assortment of beauty products from countless brands. I always love to try new products out and to share my experiences with y’all. It’s especially great (and surprisingly rare) when I try a new product out and fall in love with it.
Another category that I love posting about, and have only started featuring on the blog in the past two years, is fitness. It’s something I feel strongly about and I enjoy being able to connect with y’all in an area outside of fashion and beauty.
Recently I had the opportunity to try out an innovative brand that combines both my love for beauty and fitness, which makes for the perfect post to share with y’all! I always get asked about my workout routine or what I do to stay in shape, and one of my favorite ways to work-out (and to ease stress) is to practice Yoga. I live in hot and humid Florida, so during the summer months I’m exercising inside, but when the fall rolls around (and the humidity dies down) I love to get outside to work out in the cool, fresh air.
A lot of people assume that, just because I'm a fashion blogger and I post pictures of myself on the daily, I'm this super confident person. Confidence is something that I feel every person struggles with, but I can honestly say that now I'm in my 30's I feel more confident than ever. However, it didn't just happen overnight. It's something I have to work on all the time. I think there are a lot of things that we can do for ourselves daily that can help boost our confidence. It's not about looking towards others for compliments, it's about loving yourself and all of yourself (even your flaws). It's also about treating yourself right and doing things to make yourself happy. Read on after the jump for ways to help you feel more confident in your own skin.

Summer time is all about effortless beauty -- that just-off-the-beach bronzed skin and salty wavy hair. I recently visited my local Sally Beauty to pick up some summer must-haves. These are all products that can easily take you from the beach or pool to dinner and drinks. {Read more after the jump!}
Who's ready for The Oscars tonight?! I AM!! (insert emoji of girl with raised hand) Although I won't be walking the red carpet tonight, a girl can certainly dream, so in this post I'll be sharing some of my faves from a Babbleboxx I recently received. All of these products can help prepare you for a big night. Whether you're going on a date with your man, attending a wedding or black tie affair, they're all essential for looking and feeling your best.
As I delve more into the beauty posts on my blog, I find myself experimenting a lot more than I used to with my daily makeup routine. I used to be pretty basic and I only used drug store products. Now I'm discovering new techniques and new brands that I am absolutely loving. One of my favorite places to shop for makeup is Ulta. I love that they carry everything I need beauty-wise, whether it's hair-care or makeup. Plus, they always have awesome sales! So, when Ulta came to me with a beauty post challenge to create a look based on one of fall's hottest makeup trends: Concealer Wardrobing, I was totally game. Not sure what Concealer Wardrobing is? Read on for more!
I'm always excited to share a beauty review with y'all, especially when the products are really good for your skin. A sweet reader (and Consultant of Beautycounter), reached out to me recently and introduced me to the brand. I had never heard of Beautycounter before, so I was eager to see what the brand was all about. Beautycounter is passionate about ensuring that each of their products is not only effective, but safe for all women and their families. I was shocked to read that over 1,300 ingredients have been banned from personal care products in the European Union. In the US, the federal government has banned only 11. There hasn't been a law passed regulating the $70 billion personal care industry since 1938!! Crazy, huh? At Beautycounter, there are 1,500 ingredients that will never be used. Every ingredient in their products has a function; nothing is used without careful consideration for efficacy and performance. No unwanted extras, no dyes, no mysteries. Each ingredient has a purpose. After reading all of this, I couldn't wait to try out some of Beautycounter's products.
